Here's the first three of my Minstrel videos. They will cover the basics of Minstrel healing for those new to the Minstrel and returning players.

Please note that these videos are aimed at L20 to L32 players and higher rotations are very different. I'll be adding more videos as we level to include different skills and rotations.

You might play your Minstrel in a very different manner and that's fine, these are just guidelines to assist new players unsure or nervous about healing.

Note the password to the videos is 'carefree' (all lower case).

1. Minstrel Video 1 - HUD
Covers the plugins I use to see Buffs, Debuffs, Cooldowns and all FS HP bars and heal them with micro-movements of my mouse without looking at my skillbars or mousing any skills

2 Minstrel Video 2 Ballads and Anthems
Covers Ballads and Anthems, what they do, how to get them up in five seconds and why they are vital to Minstrel healing.

3 Minstrel Video 3 Cutting Inductions
Covers how to cut induction skills with instant skills, reducing induction time, speeding up rotations, applying two heals at once while stacking HoTs at the same time.

Note you should view them in full-screen on a PC to read the text. They really won't work on a tablet unless you have amazing eyesight.

Future videos will cover when to use the Coda and Cry of the Chorus, spike recovery rotations to get everyone up again fast, Big Red Buttons and so on. Again for L20 to L32.

For those new to using key bindings instead of mouse-clicking skills, you might wish to see my post here about using the ESDF instead of the WSAD keys to provide more keys for binding.

As someone who had never played this class before, still getting the feel to it, this is invaluable. Getting the UI set up right with all the right plugins, knowing which skills bind to the best hot keys, and practising tricks early is important. Like having separated buff bars for anthems seems immensely useful and also inspiring to figure out something similar for my warden army.

I also like this is specifically aimed at low level toons although lvl 20 is a distant future for me and it doesn't feel overwhelming at all. Great job, thank you. (:

I definitely agree with you, Bid. It seems there is a lot of things you can do to make your healing more effective. I'm gonna have so much fun with these! Thanks, Ant!
